What was your favorite book as a child?
I fell in love with books when I discovered the magical world of “Harry Potter”. Beyond my daily life, which as a pupil was not that exciting, I immersed myself in a different world full of magic at night, adventures, true friendship, and mischiefs of children in my age. After a few pages, it felt like I was indeed becoming part of their lives; I participated in all their adventures, successes, or failures with my imagination.
What was the most adventurous or thrilling thing you ever did/experienced?
Back in 2015, an unforgettable Erasmus (semester abroad) in Italy brought me to the coasts of Sardegna with the company of four girls. When our accommodation was cancelled, we decided to rent a car and travel around the whole island in the remaining 48 hours of our stay. Deserted coasts, ghost seaside towns, colourful houses, and illegal camping sites added a unique fragrance to a crazy collage of memories.
Do you listen to music while reading or writing?
Since my mind focuses either on the lyrics and the rhythm or on the story, the combination of reading and listening proves to be very distracting. Nonetheless, after reading I enjoy listening to music (from pop to rock), thinking about how the story might evolve and what will happen next (especially if the book is really capturing).
